There are times when we wonder if some people even know what fashion is anymore. After surveying their readers, Celebrity News Service has named Lady Gaga as the best dressed celebrity of 2009. Beyonce came in number 2. We can see Beyonce. At least she tries. But Lady Gaga? Are they kidding? Sometimes these awards go to the celebrity who is known for dressing the most outlandishly. But if that is what they are giving awards for, then they should not say it is for the "best dressed". That is just wrong. Lady Gaga deserves this award about as much as Ben Stein does. Let's get real. Lady Gaga sure grabs a lot of headlines for being outrageous. But it is just incorrect to say that Lady Gaga is fashionable. So do the other names deserve to be on the list? Perhaps. Beyonce, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift play the game well and should get some recognition. The only other name that looks way out of place on the list is Chris Brown at number 10.
