If you’re a fashion follower, then you’ll of course look to the celebrities you admire for fashion tips. There are many celebrity fashion trends for the summer of 2012 and here I’ll give you a run through of the best trends and the best styles for this summer! Jewellery is always a huge fashion trend no matter what the season – but it’s important to make sure you’re choosing the right styles and keeping your jewellery on-trend and fashionable and right for the summer season.
Colourful
Colour is such an important part of dressing for summer, and you should always try and inject some colour into your jewelry choices. Sometime choosing a bright statement piece of jewelry can totally brighten up an outfit and get it really for summer days. Choosing the right colour for your skin tone is important too. Turquoise is a great colour for those with dark or tanned skin (as in green and blue), for people with paler skin you can stick with pastels (as they won’t wash you out) or go with a colour that matches your eyes!
Bold
Bold African jewelry is really in for 2012. The bigger the better and the brighter the better. This trend is all about being brave with your choices and choosing strong statement pieces that will catch people’s eyes. You could even team the bold pieces with bold colourful clothes and bold colourful patterns. Aztec patterns are really on-trend, so try team you bold jewelry with these patterns.
Sunglasses
Sunglasses are not technically jewelry – but just as important. Any celebrity will tell you the importance of sun glasses and you’ll soon be hooked on them. Ray Bans are always a big favourite amongst the stars – but they don’t necessarily look great on all face shapes. The best thing to do when buying sunglasses is just to try on lots of pairs until you get it right. Aviators are usually a sure bet though if you don’t have time for trying on – and look great on everyone.

A major trend for summertime is the maxi dress – and nothing looks better with a maxi dress than a cute little anklet. Anklets are delicate and feminine and can add a touch of boho to any outfit. Perfect for those summer days relaxing on the beach! You may want a cotton anklet, or you may choose a metal one with precious stones inside – either will look great.
Ethnic Earrings
A quick way to dress up any outfit is to wear a big, showy pair of ethnic inspired earrings. Kim Kardashian is a great example of someone who does this often. Her earrings make her outfits instantly elegant and create that mysterious and elegant ethnic look that will be huge this summer. This style is another one that would look great with a maxi dress.
