You not only have to worry about your little one, but you cannot leave the house in curlers and slippers - unless you want your lack of fashion sense debated in online forums. Fortunately, there are some celebrity moms who have not lost their knack for fashion just because they happen to be mothers now. Just another reason for the rest of us to feel woefully inadequate. Here are five celebrity moms who have mastered the art of staying stylish.
1. Beyonce
The "Single Ladies" singer may be new to the world of motherhood, but she hasn't lost her flare for turning heads. Blue Ivy's mom enjoyed a night out with hubby Jay Z just weeks after giving birth. Not surprisingly, she looked great. No visible evidence of baby weight as she wore a beautiful, yet tastefully revealing dress. Beyonce has maintained a sense of style ever since her days in Destiny's Child. So it really isn't a big surprise that she is still as stylish as ever now that she is a mommy. Beyonce doesn't really dress down all that much, but she does set the standard for looking great when stepping out for the night. Even in her early days, Beyonce was sensible about her fashion choices. That grace and style will serve the new mother well for years to come.
2. Katie Holmes
Mrs. Tom Cruise has always had that polished, glamorous look down. Now, as the mother young Suri, Katie still looks great while strolling through the park in sweats, a pantsuit, a sweater or even a trench coat and umbrella. Holmes has another thing going for her - the ability to accessorize. The star is often seen with stylish leather bags, cool shades and stunningly spectacular scarfs in colors that always match her ensemble perfectly. It looks like little Suri is following in her stylish mom's footsteps. The woman behind the L.A.M.B. clothing line hasn't lost her stylish edge. You know you are still an ultra cool rocker when you can rock Converse sneakers and a poncho and still look great. When the No Doubt lady is dressed to the nines she looks like something out of a classic movie magazine. Stefani has always had a stunning, iconic beauty once seen in the silver screen stars of yesterday. When she's going casual, she still comes off as trendy and fashionable. Never seen in the same style for too long, Stefani still manages to stay one step ahead of trends wherever she goes and whatever she does. She may not be a "Hollerback Girl," but she is one stylish celebrity mom.
4. Jessica Alba
Who says you can't be sexy and flirty when you're a mom? Jessica Alba has that polished look down to a science. Even when wearing jeans and a cardigan when out with daughters Honor and Haven, Alba looks stylish and sleek at the same time.
