The sad fact is that there are hackers in this world. Everyday, millions of social media accounts are hacked by even novice hackers. However, there are the select hackers that take hacking to the next level: Celebrity hacks. On January 15, 2012, Ashton Kutcher, known for his roles in That 70s Show and Dude, Where's My Car?, was hacked. His Twitter account, which was also linked to his FourSquare account, was compromised by a savvy, yet ridiculously moronic, hacker.Kutcher recently broke up with Demi Moore and is now rumored to be in a new relationship with Lorene Scafaria, a singer/songwriter/actress. Of course, this new rumor was the main focus for the hacker's tweets. Here are a couple tweets from the hacker:
"First official sleepover with my girl @lorenescafaria so maybe breakfast with everyone next time! (@ Lorene's House)"
"Check out my new girl Lorene's House (Los Angeles, CA) on foursquare"
So apparently someone thinks they are clever hacking my account. #lame
Ok mr hacker, you only made one mistake. You hacked my Foursquare and I now know your address. Whoops.... This is gonna be fun.
I'm coming for you my friend.... #hacker
There are ways to prevent hacks on social media accounts. Often times, a strong password is all that is necessary to prevent someone from hacking an account. People who have a difficult time creating a strong password can use a strong password generator to create one for them.
