Khloe Kardashian Wears A Vera Wang Wedding Gown For Her Wedding

Khloe Kardashian Wears Vera Wang For Her Wedding To Lamar OdomSeveral weeks ago, 3.2 million viewers tuned in to watch Khloe Kardashian marry Los Angeles Laker star Lamar Odom in a Vera Wang wedding dress on the E! entertainment network.  But was it everything that fans were expecting?  The wedding episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" was one of the biggest events in the history of the E! entertainment channel, and some fans are claiming that it simply did not deliver the goods.  Produced by American Idol host Ryan Seacrest, Keeping Up With The Kardashians has been a huge cable hit.  It is a reality show that has attempted to document the ongoing adventures of the Kardashian-Jenner family.  The wedding episode was highly anticipated, but some fans were left wondering why the wedding was so simple.

In particular, much of the discussion in fashion circles has been about the Vera Wang wedding gown that Khloe wore for the ceremony.  It seemed to be a little more "basic" than perhaps fans were expecting.  Very Wang is really, really hot right now, but this particular dress seemed a bit out of place for a Hollywood wedding.

As for the television show, Kardashian and Odom were actually married back on September 27th.  The ceremony was a "night-clubbed themed" black tie wedding at a Beverly Hills mansion in front of approximately 250 guests.

A "night-clubbed themed" wedding?

That seems so appropriate for this wedding and yet so wrong all at the same time.

But who are we to judge?

In any event, a lot of famous people were there.  The guest list for the wedding included such stars as Ryan Seacrest, Kelly Osbourne, Kobe Bryant, Chelsea Handler, Lara Spencer, Brittny Gastineau and Lala Vazquez.

So will the marriage end up being better than the ceremony?

Only time will tell.
